Barbara Skrzypek, the long-time director of the presidential office of the Law and Justice party (PiS), suddenly passed away on Saturday. She had recently been questioned in an investigation concerning the “Two Towers” case.
Interrogation and Sudden Death
“I received this information two hours ago, and it was personally confirmed by Jarosław Kaczyński. Mrs. Barbara Skrzypek has suddenly passed away. There is no information suggesting that she suffered from any life-threatening illnesses,”
said Tomasz Sakiewicz.
“A few days ago, she was summoned for questioning, which could be described as an extraction interrogation. Five hours of questioning for a person who is already retired, fatigued by life experiences and work, bears all the hallmarks of harassment,”
added the president of TV Republika.
“This interrogation—based on what I know—was a form of pressure, if not something worse, aimed at extracting testimony from her that would incriminate Jarosław Kaczyński,”
Sakiewicz stated.
