Nawfal had previously addressed an English-speaking global audience regarding an article in Gazeta Polska that discussed USAID funds allegedly aiding in the overthrow of Poland’s Law and Justice (PiS) government. This time, on an account followed by over 2 million people, he reported on the death of Barbara Skrzypek.
In his title, he cited Tomasz Sakiewicz’s statement that Skrzypek had become the first fatal victim of the regime on December 13.
He then explained that Skrzypek had long served as a political aide to Jarosław Kaczyński and had now passed away following a four-hour interrogation. He emphasized that the interrogation had been conducted by Ewa Wrzosek, “known for criticizing PiS,” and that Skrzypek’s lawyer had been barred from participating, despite the presence of two opposing lawyers.
Nawfal also translated and shared a post by PiS MEP Patryk Jaki. Jaki wrote: “After the already confirmed abuse of defenseless women (RPO report), illegal arrest of members of parliament, abuse of force (ABW actions) and the accompanying media violence, it was only a matter of time before there would be more fatalities.”
