Natalia Kałucka, competing in the time trial, won the gold medal and Aleksandra Mirosław the bronze medal at the world championships in sport climbing in Moscow. The silver was won by the representative of the hosts Julia Kaplina.
Mirosław, fourth in the all-round event in this year’s Tokyo Olympics and the world record holder in the time trial, had the best time in qualifying. In the final, which featured 16 athletes, she was third. Kałucka defeated Kaplina in the decisive duel for the gold medal.
