The situation on the Polish-Belarusian border remains tense. Foreigners and Belarusian services carry out aggressive attacks. Today, Spokesperson of the Minister-Special Services Coordinator Stanisław Żaryn wrote on Twitter that this is “an operation against Poland, Lithuania and Latvia” and that this operation fits in with the aggressive Russian targets.
“The operation against Poland, Lithuania and Latvia at the hands of Lukashenka fits in with the aggressive Russian targets against the West. This is an element of the Kremlin’s strategic game, the effects of which may have a huge impact on the situation in Central Europe,” wrote Spokesperson of the Minister-Special Services Coordinator Stanisław Żaryn on Twitter.
And he continues:
“For years, Russia has continued its aggressive actions, seeking to rebuild its influence in #CEE. The Kremlin’s strategic goal is to drive American interests out of Central Europe and to break up #NATO, as well as to weaken the position of the Alliance’s eastern flank”.
