The Norwid Voivodeship and Municipal Public Library in Zielona Góra have completed the digitization of the most valuable old prints from its collections and selected items from the collections of the Zielona Góra-Gorzów Major Seminary in Paradyż.
As Anna Urbańska from the Cyprian Norwid Voivodeship and Municipal Public Library in Zielona Góra informed, the subject of the documents selected for digitization is extremely extensive and diverse, ranging from theological-religious, historical, social and legal works, through school programs, poetry works in the field of psychology and mathematics.
A significant part of the 30 digitized titles are works published in Silesia and Lusatia, incl. in Wrocław, Żary, Legnica and Żytawa. Ten items selected for digitization were published in Polish.
Thanks to the cooperation with the library of the theological seminary in Paradyż, the library in Zielona Góra enriched its digital collection with 11 old prints. They are theological and historical works from the 17th and 18th centuries.
