Polish Football Association called a press conference on Monday, at which the new selector of the White and Red will be presented. “Przegląd Sportowy” reports that it will be Adam Nawałka.
The new selector will replace the Portuguese Paulo Sousa, who terminated his contract with the Polish Football Association in late December.
“Polish Football Association (PZPN) invites media representatives to the presentation of the new Polish national team coach, which will be held on Monday, January 31 at 1:30 PM at PGE Narodowy,” writes the “Łączy nas piłka” portal.
According to “Przeglad Sportowy”, the White-Reds will be led again by Adam Nawałka, who parted ways with the national team after the failed 2018 World Cup in Russia. The newspaper reported that the 64-year-old will sign a short contract, valid only until the end of 2022, and will earn a monthly salary of 200 thousand PLN.
In March, the Poles will fight in the play-off for promotion to this year’s world championships in Qatar.
