Stability Above All: Nawrocki Outlines His Vision for the Presidency

Poland needs a commander-in-chief of the armed forces who will be emotionally stable and consistent in his views, someone who will implement the programs and projects he promises — declared Karol Nawrocki, a civic presidential candidate supported by the Law and Justice party (PiS).

Nawrocki: “The Future of Our Grandchildren and Children Must Be Safe”

During a meeting with residents of Nowa Dęba (Podkarpackie Voivodeship), Karol Nawrocki emphasized, among other things, that “the future of our grandchildren and children must be secure.”

“That is why we need a commander-in-chief who is emotionally stable and consistent in his views, someone who will implement the programs and projects he has committed to. Someone who will strive for Poland to have an army of at least 300,000 soldiers, who will strengthen our alliance with the United States and safeguard Poland’s position within the North Atlantic Alliance,”

added Nawrocki, who also serves as the President of the Institute of National Remembrance (IPN).

Nawrocki stressed that Poland must be safe, which, he indicated, means that “illegal migrants” must not “roam the streets.”

“We want a safe Poland, and we deserve it. To ensure Poland’s security, we must also modernize companies like Dezamet (an ammunition manufacturer headquartered in Nowa Dęba — editor’s note). We must have our own ammunition factories, and we must produce our own 120 mm and 155 mm ammunition, because — as the war front in Ukraine has shown — artillery warfare is critically important. I will lead you to a safe Poland,”

declared the candidate.

In Nowa Dęba, Nawrocki also stated that Poland needs major infrastructure projects, including those located at the municipal level. In this context, he pointed to the Strategic Investment Program implemented by the PiS government, under which sports fields and new Volunteer Fire Department (OSP) facilities, among others, were constructed.

“Over eight years, the United Right government maintained sound public finances, allowing for the construction of roads, educational facilities, and stadiums,”

he assessed.

“There Is One Poland”

In his view, “we should all question those who refuse to work for Poland and who ignore the voices of Polish citizens, asking what it is they are actually doing.” He pledged that — if elected president — he would serve as “a guardian of our shared finances, which must be spent prudently and sustainably,” because — as he added — “there is only one Poland; we cannot subsidize only the large, major cities and metropolitan areas.”

Nawrocki announced that, if he wins the presidential election, his first legislative initiative will be to advocate for projects that are currently lacking, yet, as he noted, “were once affordable” under the United Right government.

At the conclusion of his speech, he appealed to the residents of Nowa Dęba gathered at Major Jan Gryczman Square for mobilization, urging them to convince “those who are still undecided that we truly can win these elections — and we will win them.”

According to Nawrocki, if the Civic Coalition candidate Rafał Trzaskowski wins and “the migration pact gains momentum,” then cities in Poland will resemble Brussels or Berin, where — as he claimed — “individuals will be running around playgrounds with knives or driving trucks into crowds at Christmas festivals.”
