During a press conference after the joint talks, Fiala said that the agreement is an important step in Polish-Czech relations.

“We are glad to have achieved this goal. This is a huge success. We were able to remove a huge obstacle that was weighing down our relationship. I would like to thank everyone who had a hand in making this happen, the Minister of Environment Hubachkova, the Liberec Region authorities. We have had some very tough talks that took a very long time, but the end of those talks is successful,” admitted Fiala.
