The government has adopted a draft law on providing assistance to citizens of Ukraine seeking refuge from Russian aggression. The new law would guarantee financial support for Poles hosting families from Ukraine – 40 zloty per person per day for two months. Ukrainian citizens will also be able to stay legally and work in Poland for 18 months.
