Thousands of people gathered in Glendale, Arizona, for the memorial service of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, an event meant to highlight his influence on American politics. President of the United States Donald Trump was scheduled to speak during the ceremony. Vice President J.D. Vance and the widow, Erika Kirk, were also present.
On X, Kirk’s closest associates and friends were saying their goodbyes.
“Charlie, my brother — you showed us the true meaning of Christian love and unshakable power. Now as you watch from above, may eternal peace surround you. You carried this mission with honor, and you will forever be remembered as the GREAT ONE,” wrote Barron Trump, son of the U.S. president.

Vice President JD Vance wrote, “Last week, we brought my dear friend Charlie Kirk home one last time.”
“Today, we return to Arizona to remember Charlie and honor his sacrifice. May he eternally rest in peace, and may God watch over Erika and their beautiful children.,” Vance added.
Elon Musk was also attending the farewell ceremonies.
