In the area of Kamionka Stara village in Bargłów Kościelny commune, Augustów district (Podlaskie region), an unidentified object was found on Saturday morning, according to the Podlaskie police. The object was again stumbled upon by a random citizen.
Konrad Karwacki from the press team of the Podlaskie police told PAP that the unknown object was lying in a field. It was found around 8:00 AM.
What is this object?
Karwacki only briefly mentioned that it was handed over to special services. He did not specify exactly what the object was. The Podlaskie police also do not provide any other information on this matter.
“It’s probably a weather balloon,” said Jacek Dobrzyński, spokesman for the Head of the Ministry of Interior and Administration and the Minister Coordinator of Special Services, on Polsat News. The station reports that the object had Cyrillic inscriptions and was found by a farmer.
Another object with Cyrillic
This is already the third object with Russian inscriptions found in recent weeks. The previous two similar ones were found in the Warmian-Masurian voivodeship, near Pisz and Dobre Miasto, about 20 km north of Olsztyn.”
