Today in Szczecin, a meeting with Robert Bąkiewicz, leader of the Border Defense Movement (ROG), was supposed to take place. On his way to the meeting, including with members of the Gazeta Polska Clubs, Bąkiewicz posted a video on social media. “The man who rented us the hall for today’s meeting in Szczecin was harassed and intimidated. He was threatened with having his hotel burned down and his property destroyed. Typical gangster tactics. That’s why I’m calling for a protest – the place and time remain unchanged,” he said.
A few days ago, the Gazeta Polska Clubs announced an open meeting with the leader of the Border Defense Movement, Robert Bąkiewicz. It was scheduled for Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. in the conference hall at the Vulcan Hotel in Szczecin.
Bąkiewicz: The left is howling because it fears the truth
On his way to the venue, Bąkiewicz posted another video on social media, informing that “the man who rented the hall for today’s meeting was harassed and intimidated. He was threatened with having the hotel burned down and his property destroyed.”
“We have just received information that the hall where today’s meeting was to take place has been canceled. The man who rented it to us was intimidated, with talk of the hotel being burned down and his property destroyed. Various forms of pressure were applied. Today the hall was canceled. Just another day, one might say. The left is fighting against us. The left is fighting against Polish patriots. This shows how afraid they are of us, how much they fear our activity, because we speak to people – and in such a way that people accept what we say, because we speak the truth,” says the ROG leader in the recording.
He announced, however, that instead of the meeting, a spontaneous demonstration would take place in Szczecin, at the same address.
“We are not giving up. Today in Szczecin we will meet in front of that hall. There we will organize a spontaneous gathering. I know the weather may not be the most favorable, but I think we can endure those 30 or 40 minutes, talk there, and prepare for further struggle against the left, which must be politically neutralized. We, Polish patriots, must fight for Poland. We must defend Poland – ourselves – against mass migration, against Germans usurping the right to decide over the western territories,” Bąkiewicz says.
