Bąkiewicz Responds to Prime Minister Tusk: “We Fight for Poland. I Will Not Be Silenced”

“I will not be intimidated by Tusk,” declares Robert Bąkiewicz, the initiator of the Border Defense Movement. He issued a statement following attacks on border defenders by those in power.

Activists of the Border Defense Movement, who are responding to the wave of illegal migration from Germany, were yesterday targeted by the government. Minister of the Interior and Administration Tomasz Siemoniak announced that law enforcement agencies would take action. “It is the state that is responsible for border security, not far-right activist groups assembled by Bąkiewicz,” said Prime Minister Donald Tusk.

As Bąkiewicz was mentioned by name, he issued a formal statement.

“Today, Prime Minister Donald Tusk openly attacked the Border Defense Movement, which I initiated, as well as me personally. He said that ‘something must be done about it’—clearly indicating that the aim of his government is to neutralize civic resistance to the migratory invasion and the lack of genuine border protection.

I must be prepared for attempts to detain me, dismantle our patrols, and outlaw civic opposition. I’ve been through this before. I do not rule out the possibility of false accusations, fabricated evidence, or staged scenarios meant to create a façade of legality for any potential arrest and detention. This has all happened before,” wrote Bąkiewicz.

He recalled that last year his home was raided and searched, but the case was ultimately dismissed. “It was a political witch hunt by Tusk and Bodnar,” he added.

“Today, we may face a repeat—and it could be even worse. I do not rule out attempts to intimidate my family, aimed at weakening my resistance and frightening all protest participants through a chilling effect. But I will not be silenced.

If I am detained, I call on all patriots to immediately escalate protests and implement stronger border blockades. We cannot back down. We must act with even greater determination,” Bąkiewicz continued.

“We do not fight for ourselves. We fight for Poland. For the safety of our families and our children. So that Poland does not turn into a migratory hell—subordinate to Berlin’s interests.

Our actions represent the only mass civic resistance to the planned migration policy in Europe. In Western countries, where waves of migrants were introduced, no serious resistance emerged—until it was too late and the changes became irreversible.

For Germany and for Donald Tusk, this is a nightmare they did not anticipate. Our movement has sparked mass resistance not only at the border but throughout Poland—and this is exactly what they want to destroy today. I will not give in. ‘No German will spit in our face!’” he concluded.
