After meticulous renovations and construction, the Interaktywne Centrum Bajki i Animacji (Interactive Center of Animation and Fairy Tales) in Bielsko is nearing its grand opening. With all necessary inspections completed, Karolina Lorenc, deputy director of the studio, announced that the facility is now undergoing final touches and organizational preparations before its May debut.
A Blend of Education and Entertainment
This innovative center aims to merge education and entertainment, offering children and families an immersive experience in learning through play, utilizing state-of-the-art multimedia techniques. Building upon the legacy of Studio Filmów Rysunkowych, known for iconic animated series like “Bolek and Lolek,” “Reksio the Dog,” and “Wawel Dragon,” the center promises a diverse range of activities for visitors.
The project, which began with the restoration of a historic villa housing the studio, now culminates in the construction of a modern edifice adjacent to the heritage site. Costing approximately 41 million PLN, funded by a mix of Norwegian grants, government support, and local contributions, this initiative stands as a testament to Bielsko-Biała’s commitment to cultural enrichment and heritage preservation.
