    Blanka to represent Poland at Eurovision 2023

    During Sunday’s concert, ‘Tu bije serce Europy – Wybieramy hit na Eurowizję’ we got to know Poland’s representative. It will be Blanka with the song ‘Solo.’

    Blanka, representing Poland in Liverpool, won the competition with her song ‘Solo,’ after receiving a total of 22 points from a four-person jury of experts and television viewers who voted via SMS. Jann was the runner-up with the song ‘Gladiator‘ (19 points) and Dominik Dudek came in third with ‘Be Good‘ (18 points).

    Blanka Stajkow is 23 years old. She was born in Szczecin, Poland, to a Polish mother and a Bulgarian father. She made her debut with the single ‘Better‘ and last year signed a deal with Warner Music Poland. Her radio hit ‘Solo’ was submitted for the pre-selection and it rose to the top of the charts in her home country.


    Eurovision 2023 will take place on 9, 11 and 13 May 2023 at the M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool. This year’s theme is ‘United by Music.’ Thirty-seven countries will perform, and compared to last year, this will be the first Eurovision in years without a representative from North Macedonia. What is more, Bulgaria and Montenegro have also dropped out of the competition due to the energy crisis.
