Boeing has officially launched a new engineering complex in Poland, enhancing its operations in the country. The new facilities in Gdańsk, Rzeszów, and Warsaw will focus on structural, production, software, and systems engineering to support Boeing’s commercial, defense, and service programs. This investment will create hundreds of new jobs in Poland, where Boeing already employs over 1,100 people.
Strategic Engineering Roles
The main engineering office in Rzeszów handles mechanical and electrical engineering, along with customer support. Gdańsk, known for software development, specializes in systems and avionics engineering, developing advanced technologies for Boeing’s aircraft. Warsaw teams concentrate on production engineering and material testing, collaborating closely with the Łukasiewicz Research Network – Institute of Aviation.
Global Talent Development
“Boeing is committed to building a strong, long-term engineering presence in Poland,” said Linda Hapgood, VP of Boeing Engineering Poland & Ukraine. This expansion aligns with Boeing’s global strategy to leverage its resources by creating synergies between existing locations and engaging the right talent worldwide.
Long-standing Commitment
Boeing has been in Poland for 35 years, continually expanding its team. The investments leverage the talented Polish workforce and excellent university system, which are crucial for current and future aerospace programs.
