    Celebrating Małopolska: Gala Honors Region’s Rich Heritage

    On November 14, 2024, Minister Piotr Ćwik, Deputy Chief of the Chancellery of the President of Poland, attended the Gala of Małopolska Day at the Polish Aviation Museum in Krakow. Minister Ćwik delivered a special letter from President Andrzej Duda addressed to the local authorities and participants of the celebration.

    The letter highlighted Małopolska’s historical and cultural significance, referring to it as the “Mother and Capital of all Polish lands.” President Duda praised the region’s commitment to preserving its heritage while fostering Poland’s development, expressing gratitude to its leaders and residents for their dedication.

    Małopolska’s National Recognition

    The gala followed another recent achievement: Małopolska received the Special Economic Award during the President’s Economic Prize Gala on November 7 at Łańcut Castle. The award honored the region’s exceptional efforts in promoting regional tourism, further solidifying its status as a beacon of Polish culture and innovation.

    These celebrations underscore Małopolska’s enduring role in shaping Poland’s identity and future.
