Zbigniew Bogucki, head of the Presidential Chancellery, commented on X on the geopolitical situation and EU-US relations. “25 years ago, the European Union had a larger economy than the United States. Despite enlargement to include many countries, meaning larger markets, today the EU economy is smaller than that of the United States,” the politician stressed.
“Europe slept through the moment when the world began moving faster. If we are not present where decisions are made, others will make them for us,”
Bogucki observed.
The head of the Presidential Chancellery also addressed security issues:
“The threat is very serious, and we must do everything possible in the areas of public finances, defense, education, and international relations to mitigate these challenges. This means having the certainty that we are doing absolutely everything we can to avert this risk and prevent what we already know from history from happening again.”
