Christians, Jews and Their Allies in Europe Targeted by ISIS

ISIS is calling for intensified terror in Europe, aimed at Christians, Jews and “their allies.” The group urges its followers to “shoot, stab and ram” the infidels living in Europe and the United Kingdom. This is already another call to action within a very short time, targeting Europeans. The reason is the escalating conflict in the Gaza Strip.

The issue was reported by the conservative British daily Daily Express. According to the newspaper, ISIS leaders issued the call to action through the organization’s spokesman, Abu Hudhaifa al-Ansari. He encouraged pursuing Jews and Christians in America, Europe and across the globe.

Horrific instructions

In an online letter titled O Zealous Monotheists, published by Al-Naba (the weekly outlet of the Islamic State), Abu Hudhaifa al-Ansari once again called for violence and the spilling of infidel blood. Earlier, he had done so during Ramadan, calling it “the month of jihad,” and encouraged so-called “lone wolf” attacks in Western cities. This time, the ISIS spokesman did not fail to offer his young followers specific ideas on how to assault the defenseless.

“Perfect your plans and diversify your actions: blow up with explosives, ignite with incendiary bombs, shoot with deadly bullets, cut and slaughter with sharp knives, run over and crush with buses. The zealous will not lack ways to bleed the hearts of Jews, Christians and their allies,” ISIS urged in its statement.

But that was not all. The Islamic State also wrote of “hunting” infidels in places where they had previously felt safest. “Break into their homes, kill them and punish them by all possible means,” incited Abu Hudhaifa al-Ansari.

This violence is meant as revenge for Israel’s attacks on Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. The spokesman of the Islamic State instructed that Muslims must support other Muslims wherever they are.

The Palestinian issue at the UN

During the ongoing UN General Assembly, in light of the escalating Hamas-Israel conflict, an International High-Level Conference on a Peaceful Resolution of the Question of Palestine and Implementation of the Two-State Solution was convened. On Monday, the President of the Palestinian Authority, Mahmoud Abbas, addressed the UN forum. Since he had not received a US visa, he could not attend in person the New York deliberations dedicated to resolving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. He assured, however, that the legitimate Palestinian authorities, distinct from Hamas, condemn the October 7 attack on Israel, and that Hamas itself will have no role in governance in Palestine, will not be invited to exercise power there, and moreover has been called to disarm and recognize the authority of the Palestinian leadership.

A reward for terror

For Israel, this is an unacceptable solution, which Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called “a reward for terrorism,” referring to Hamas’s assault on Israeli civilians on October 7, 2023, which triggered the ongoing war in the Middle East. Italy and Germany also opposed the recognition of Palestinian statehood, siding with Israel’s position.
