LOT Polish Airlines has announced the establishment of a codeshare agreement with American carrier JetBlue Airways, taking their existing partnership to a new level. This expansion promises improved travel options between Poland and the United States, set to be available starting the 2023/2024 winter season.
Streamlined Travel with Codeshare Collaboration
Up until now, these airlines collaborated under an interline agreement. With this codeshare agreement, passengers will have the convenience of booking their entire journey on a single ticket, complete with consistent baggage policies and fare conditions. The travel itinerary is designed to facilitate seamless connections to various destinations across the USA, optimizing transfer times.
Welcoming a Fruitful Partnership
Robert Ludera, Director of Network Development at LOT Polish Airlines, expressed his enthusiasm for the newly established codeshare with JetBlue. This partnership not only expands travel options for LOT’s customers between Poland and the USA but also opens up opportunities for JetBlue passengers to access Poland and destinations in Central and Eastern Europe.
Access to Popular US Destinations
The collaboration between both carriers will offer Polish travelers access to popular U.S. destinations such as Boston, Orlando, Detroit, Las Vegas, Atlanta, and Washington. Tickets for LOT Polish Airlines and JetBlue flights during the 2023/2024 winter season will be available in the coming weeks through various sales channels, including lot.com, LOT Contact Center, LOT Travel offices, and agents.
