“Enough chaos and embarrassment.” Law and Justice files motion to dismiss Kierwiński

“Chaos within the services, the state’s helplessness in the face of a series of false alarms, the embarrassment surrounding the so-called ‘transcript,’ and the memorable ‘echo’ incident” – this is how Law and Justice (PiS) Vice President Mariusz Błaszczak justified his party’s motion filed today to dismiss Marcin Kierwiński from the position of Minister of the Interior and Administration.

Recently, a series of false alarms and anonymous reports concerning individuals associated with the political right have taken place. Interventions linked to these reports occurred, among others, at the homes of journalists from Telewizja Republika, former head of the National Security Bureau Sławomir Cenckiewicz, as well as members of the family of President Karol Nawrocki. Law and Justice politicians argue that the scale of these incidents is alarming and are demanding clarification of the circumstances, as well as the dismissal of Interior Minister Marcin Kierwiński, who oversees the services.

As Mariusz Błaszczak announced on the X platform, PiS has already submitted a motion to remove the politician from the December 13 coalition government from office.

“Enough chaos and embarrassment in the Ministry of the Interior and Administration. Today, we submitted a motion to dismiss Marcin Kierwiński,” the PiS politician stated.

“Chaos within the services, the state’s helplessness in the face of a series of false alarms, the embarrassment surrounding the so-called ‘transcript,’ and the memorable ‘echo’ incident – these are only part of the long list of reasons why Marcin Kierwiński should no longer serve as minister,” Błaszczak said.

He stressed that “the safety of Poles requires competence, responsibility, and effectiveness.”

“That is precisely what is lacking today in the Ministry of the Interior,” he added.
