Popular YouTuber Budda, real name Kamil L., along with nine other individuals, faces charges of tax fraud and illegal gambling activities. They are accused of running unauthorized online lotteries and evading VAT. The suspects deny any wrongdoing.
Seized Assets and Frozen Funds
Authorities have conducted multiple searches, seizing significant evidence, including financial documents. Over PLN 90 million in accounts linked to the illegal activities were frozen, alongside 51 vehicles valued at PLN 38 million, properties worth PLN 30 million, and gold bars.
Prosecutors allege the group issued fraudulent VAT invoices, misrepresenting business transactions. Additionally, they laundered money by moving funds through various accounts under the guise of loans, concealing the true origin of the money.
