Germany’s Migrant Transfer Sparks Political Firestorm in Poland

Germany’s migrant policy sparks outrage in Poland. Prof. Ryszard Legutko accuses PM Donald Tusk of using migration as revenge, calling his actions a “conscious destruction of Poland.”

Tusk Under Fire for Alleged Betrayal

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has announced that migrant expulsions from Germany are legally justified and have been coordinated with European leaders. However, critics argue that Poland was presented with a fait accompli, with no real say in the matter. Despite Prime Minister Donald Tusk’s assurances that Poland will not accept migrants under the EU migration pact, concerns remain about those being transferred across the border. Former MEP Prof. Ryszard Legutko has strongly criticized Tusk, claiming, “He is consciously destroying Poland.”

Revenge or Political Strategy?

During an interview with TV Republika, Legutko accused Tusk of using migration policy as a tool of vengeance against Poland. He stated, “He lies systematically… He is a vengeful man, not just towards the opposition but towards all of Poland.” He further described Tusk’s actions as harmful to Poland’s economy, law, and national interests. Legutko suggested that Tusk’s behavior reveals a “sociopathic trait,” asserting that many Poles are unknowingly participating in a “ritual of revenge.” As the migration issue intensifies, the debate over Poland’s sovereignty and EU influence continues to divide the nation.
