Jacek Murański’s Career: From Infamous “Freak Fighter” to Tusk’s Controversial Informer

Jacek Murański, a notorious “patocelebrity,” has been convicted of assault and embroiled in multiple defamation lawsuits, all while waging feuds with fellow celebrities and profiting from “freak fights.” Despite his criminal history, it is Murański who became a trusted source for Prime Minister Donald Tusk and TVP Info, who both relied on his “revelations” in accusations against Karol Nawrocki.

Murański has always been a polarizing figure, stirring up chaos and conflict with nearly everyone he encountered in the freak-fight world. It’s part of the business—creating a spectacle to attract a particular audience. However, even in this scandal-driven industry, Murański’s behavior was deemed excessive and disgraceful by many—a true master of shame.

The King of Embarrassment Seeks Fame

Murański served a three-year prison sentence for assault. During an appearance on “Sprawa dla reportera,” he demanded a revision of his case, which was later pursued by his lawyer. Henryk Kacprzak, the victim, spoke on the show, calling Murański a criminal: “What do I need to prove? My broken bones? Murański had corrupt doctors. You’re a thug, the whole town knows what you’ve done!”

Murański fully embraced the freak-fight scene after a bitter feud with filmmaker Konrad Niewolski, who accused him of criminal activity. Niewolski, in response, mocked Murański in social media videos, calling him “the king of embarrassment” and “the biggest disgrace in Poland.” Murański reportedly begged Niewolski for a film role, stating, “Make me famous. No one will give me a fight.” According to Niewolski, Murański lacked any acting talent.

In retaliation, Niewolski labeled Murański a “poser, liar, and rapist” and even accused him of being involved in child trafficking and leading a pedophile gang.

Defamation and Legal Battles

Fighting in Fame MMA—an organization Murański brought his son into—he found himself at odds with Sylwester Wardęga, a top influencer, and popular YouTuber Sergiusz Górski, known as “Nitrozyniak.” Murański’s usual strategy was to hurl harsh insults and accusations at his opponents. This became his trademark method of dealing with conflicts.

Górski filed a defamation lawsuit against Murański, his son Mateusz, and wife Joanna for false claims about his paternity. Ultimately, Murański had to leave Fame MMA and join the less prestigious Prime Show MMA in 2023, where he quickly clashed with another fighter, Marcin Najman. Their verbal and physical altercations were widely discussed online. Murański, sticking to his familiar tactics, accused Najman of raising a child that wasn’t his. Najman responded by calling Murański a “rat.”

Murański’s defamation wasn’t limited to the world of freak fights. Even his family filed defamation suits against him. In early 2025, he lost a case against his brother over the violation of personal rights.

His claims of serving in the French Foreign Legion have become a joke, with Murański attempting to speak broken French during interviews as “evidence.”

Tusk Meeting and Tragic Death

In 2022, Donald Tusk met with Murański’s son, Mateusz, on their way to a freak-fight gala. Mateusz proudly posted on Instagram about the encounter, accompanied by a photo with Tusk. When asked about the meeting, Murański Jr. kept the details vague, mentioning that it wasn’t just a photo opportunity but that they had gotten to know each other.

Tragically, Mateusz Murański passed away in February 2023, with his father attributing his death to a fatal case of “extreme asphyxia.”

In early 2025, Murański announced his intention to run for office in the upcoming May elections, planning to leverage his social media following for campaign support.

The Media’s View on Murański

Tomasz Duklanowski, a journalist, sums up Murański’s career as follows: “A nearly 60-year-old freak fighter who fights younger opponents for money. More often seen in court than in the octagon, as he sues everyone for defamation—most of the time losing. Until recently, he claimed he was running for president of Poland. He even used that as an excuse to avoid court hearings. His last opponent, Natan Marcoń, accused him of working with pedophiles.”

Murański has been running a business, “STUDIO JACK,” in Wałcz since 1992, which includes a pub and nightclub. He is also involved in real estate.
