Surge in Job Openings in Poland

Poland’s job market in June sees record demand for physical labor, rising vacancies in customer service and real estate, and varied regional growth.

In June, Poland witnessed a surge in job openings for physical labor roles, according to the latest Job Offer Barometer. The index, compiled by the Department of Economics and Finance at the University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszów and the Bureau of Investment and Economic Cycles, rose to 258.7 points from 258.2 in May.

Demand for Customer Service and Real Estate Professionals

There was also notable growth in vacancies for roles related to real estate and customer service. The report highlighted a particularly strong demand for call center employees and office workers, sectors which have shown steady recovery since the beginning of the year.

    Decline in STEM Job Offers

Conversely, job offers requiring qualifications in STEM fields saw a slight decline, except for construction and research and development (R&D) sectors. Despite this, the need for highly educated engineers remains critical.

    Regional Variations in Job Offers

Regionally, the most significant increase in online job postings was observed in Małopolskie, Lubuskie, and Świętokrzyskie, while declines were noted in Lubelskie, Opolskie, and Podlaskie. Overall, service-related professions, particularly in media, education, and tourism, showed robust growth.
