Karpacz to Host the 33rd Economic Forum: A Platform for New Leadership and Future Collaboration

On September 3rd, the mountain town of Karpacz will host the 33rd Economic Forum, a key event in Central and Eastern Europe’s economic and political landscape. Held at the Gołębiewski Hotel, this prestigious gathering will draw over 6,000 participants from Poland and beyond, making it one of the most significant forums in the region.

This year’s theme, “Time for New Leaders: Shaping the Future Together,” highlights the need for innovative leadership and collaboration to tackle current challenges. The Forum’s agenda includes 350 debates, six plenary sessions, and numerous workshops, special events, and press conferences, ensuring a wide-ranging dialogue that will resonate globally.

A standout feature this year is the AI Forum, organized with the Ministry of Digital Affairs and top Polish universities. This segment will focus on the impact of Artificial Intelligence on society, exploring its potential to revolutionize both public and commercial sectors. Discussions will centre on how the European Union can leverage AI to boost competitiveness and security in a rapidly evolving technological landscape.

The Forum will also unveil the “2024 SGH and Economic Forum Report,” offering a comprehensive analysis of economic trends in Poland and Central and Eastern Europe. Produced by experts from the Warsaw School of Economics, this report will provide critical insights for decision-makers across various sectors.

An integral part of the event is the Health Protection Forum, now in its 15th year, which will bring together key medical figures to discuss the economic aspects of healthcare. Additionally, the Forum will honour exceptional individuals and organizations with awards in categories like Person of the Year and Company of the Year, celebrating leadership and innovation across the region.
