Łatwogang Has Already Broken the Bank — And It’s Not Over Yet

Piotr Garkowski, known online as Łatwogang, has been running a non-stop YouTube livestream for nine consecutive days. The goal was to raise money for children battling cancer. The amount he has already collected has exceeded all expectations and broken a world record.

It all started with a song. Rapper Bedoes 2115 and 11-year-old Maja Mecan, a beneficiary of the Cancer Fighters foundation who is facing acute myeloid leukemia for the third time in her life, recorded the track “I’m Still Here (diss track against cancer)”, depicting the reality of living with the disease.

A world record!

Łatwogang proposed a challenge: the number of likes on one of his TikToks would determine the length of the livestream—one like equaled one second. Fans decided: the stream would last nine days. The original fundraising goal was set at 500,000 złoty.

For nine days straight, Łatwogang streamed live on YouTube, continuously playing the “diss track against cancer.” A parade of well-known figures appeared on camera—music stars, actors, athletes, and influencers. Among those who shaved their heads live were Katarzyna Nosowska, Maffashion, and Edyta Pazura. Others joined virtually, including Robert Lewandowski, Magda Gessler, Michał Wiśniewski, and Adam Małysz.

By Saturday at noon, the counter had surpassed PLN 50 million, and at that moment Łatwogang announced that the fundraiser had broken a Guinness World Record. The previous record belonged to MrBeast, who had raised 12 million dollars.

New goal: 100 million złoty

Early Sunday morning, the total had already exceeded PLN 80 million, with over 411,000 viewers watching the stream simultaneously. Łatwogang then announced a new target: PLN 100 million.

“I’ve never felt more that something in life truly makes sense, that we’re doing something genuinely beautiful for these kids. This isn’t about us at all—it’s only about the children,” Łatwogang said during the stream.

Patryk Garkowski, as Łatwogang, has 2.6 million followers on TikTok, 640,000 on YouTube, and one million on Instagram. The Cancer Fighters foundation, which will receive the entire amount raised, has already announced that the funds will be used to purchase medical equipment for hospitals across Poland.
