Lower Silesia to Collaborate with Ukrainian Region on Reconstruction Efforts

During the Economic Forum in Karpacz, Paweł Gancarz, the Marshal of the Lower Silesia region, announced an agreement for direct economic cooperation between Lower Silesia in Poland and the Dnipropetrovsk region in Ukraine. The partnership aims to assist in the reconstruction of the Ukrainian region, heavily impacted by the Russian invasion.

Gancarz highlighted the long-standing cooperation between the two regions, noting that humanitarian aid has been consistently provided since the onset of the conflict. This aid, worth approximately 17 million PLN, includes the delivery of power generators and other critical supplies.

As part of the ongoing support, Lower Silesia will soon donate five additional ambulances to Ukraine, following discussions with Ukrainian representatives at the Forum. The new cooperation agreement focuses on real, local-level collaboration to ensure tangible outcomes in the rebuilding of Dnipropetrovsk.
