Major Prostitution Ring Busted in Warsaw

Officers from the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBSP) have successfully dismantled a prostitution ring believed to have generated approximately PLN 90,000 (EUR 20,000) in monthly profits. The CBSP revealed that three individuals, two women, and a man aged between 36 and 60, have been apprehended and charged by the Prosecutor’s Office for their involvement in crimes related to prostitution and participation in organized criminal activities.

During the operation, law enforcement confiscated a substantial amount of evidence, including nearly PLN 40,000 (EUR 8,970) in cash, luxurious watches, and several dozen cell phones. Pawel Zukiewicz, a spokesperson for the CBSP, disclosed that the ring had been operating escort agencies from apartments in Warsaw for several years. He stated that the recruitment of women primarily occurred through internet platforms, emphasizing that gang members meticulously managed the women’s activities. These individuals provided clients, ensured protection, and in return, claimed half of the earnings generated by the women.

Investigators estimated that the prostitution ring’s monthly income could have reached nearly PLN 90,000, with the proceeds being invested in various ventures, including real estate. Additionally, property valued at almost PLN 1 million (EUR 224,000) belonging to the suspects was seized in connection with the case.
