    Marcin Lijewski is the new coach of the Polish National Handball Team

    Marcin Lijewski, one of the most successful Polish handball players, is the newly appointed coach of the Polish Men’s Handball Team.

    He will not combine his work with the National Team with other tasks in the Handball Association in Poland and at the club. A major goal of the new coach is to promote the national team to the European Championships in 2024.

    “Handball is my whole life and I am just starting a new, extremely important stage as a coach of the national team. Thank you for entrusting me with this role and confidence. It is an honor for me, but also a challenge, hard work and a great responsibility. I assure you that I will do everything to achieve the goals set for me, to build a strong team capable of winning with the most difficult opponents and to meet the expectations of the president of ZPRP and the fans.”
