    Mass Power Outages in Northern Poland Due to Severe Weather

    Nearly 14,000 customers across Pomeranian, West Pomeranian, and Warmian-Masurian provinces are without electricity due to weather-related damage. Wet snow has caused extensive power line disruptions.

    Energa Operator has dispatched numerous repair crews working tirelessly since early morning to restore electricity. Meteorologists have issued warnings about heavy snow, strong winds, and icy conditions in northern Poland.

    Severe Weather Alerts

    The Institute of Meteorology and Water Management (IMGW) has issued Level II alerts for heavy snow in several counties. Snowfall could reach up to 30 cm, while icy roads pose additional hazards. Coastal regions face Level II wind alerts, with gusts up to 100 km/h expected.

    Safety Precautions

    Authorities urge residents to remain cautious, monitor weather updates, and prepare for continued disruptions. The challenging conditions are expected to persist through Saturday evening.
