“There is one Poland, there is no western and eastern Poland, Poland A and B, communal, county, provincial – there is one Poland, and the President of the Republic of Poland will speak up on behalf of every Pole,” said today in Godziszów Trzeci, President of the Republic of Poland Karol Nawrocki.
Today, President Karol Nawrocki visited Godziszów Trzeci. In the municipality of Godziszów, he received the highest electoral result nationwide in the second round of the election – 94.66% of voters there cast their ballots for him.
This makes a great impression on me – he admitted.
You trusted your president and supported his program. This is an honor and an obligation for me. During the campaign in Janów Lubelski, I said I would work hard for you, and I can promise that. I think these 10 days [of my presidency] are proof that I will fulfill my promises and work hard for you, because that is the president’s duty – added President Nawrocki.
In his speech, he referred to the coat of arms of Godziszów, which features bees.
“This shows that not only are we a hardworking people, but it is said that this land thrives on agriculture and beekeeping. It is a symbol that you need a president who will take care of our land, our harvests. The president’s duty is also to care for the farmer. For the past 10 days, I have drawn strength from your hard work and support. These 10 days have been filled with my hard work, and so will the next 5 years. I have presented agricultural bills, giving the Polish government and parliament a chance to respond to the threats we face, such as the Green Deal and the Mercosur agreement. This initiative also includes a proposal to extend the moratorium on the ban on purchasing our land, because as much of the Republic exists as there is of our land – and Polish land must remain in the hands of Polish farmers,” assessed Karol Nawrocki.
The President also pointed to another recent legislative initiative, namely the exemption from PIT (Personal Income Tax) for families with two or more children.
“All across Poland – the family is the most important social unit; there is no Poland without Polish families. (…) This is not an initiative directed against anyone. Life circumstances and personal decisions often do not allow for starting a family, and this is something everyone can accept. But if someone decides to start a family in Poland, they must be assured that the Polish state and the president will support Polish families,” he declared.
He also recalled the initiative concerning the Central Communication Port (CPK).
“We must dream of great things. I see you, your faces, your attachment to values, to Polishness, who we are, where we are heading, how high we can set our goals. I see your children and grandchildren. Poland must be the center of communication in all of Europe; we need CPK. In my project, there is a clear declaration – there is one Poland, there is no western and eastern Poland, Poland A and B, communal, county, provincial – there is one Poland, and the President of the Republic of Poland will speak up on behalf of every Pole,” said Karol Nawrocki.
The President stated that “this is a brief report from the first 10 days of the presidency.”
“Here it is not just Karol Nawrocki, but Plan 21 – for the 21st century for Poland – that gained such great acceptance, your acceptance. Godziszów took first place in support for Plan 21. (…) I came here to say clearly that for 5 years you will have a President of Poland who, like the bees in the coat of arms of Godziszów, will work hard every day so that we have a safe Poland, a Poland of equal opportunities, a developing Poland, and a president who will be the voice of Polish farmers and who will lead us towards a clear goal – a great, strong Poland of our dreams,” he declared.
After his speech, President Karol Nawrocki began meetings and conversations with residents. Afterwards, the head of state will take part in a historical picnic in Janów Lubelski.
