“On the night of January 31 to February 1, 2026, the Belarusian side made another attempt to conduct reconnaissance and test the response of Poland’s air defense systems, which recorded the entry into Polish airspace of objects resembling balloons,” the Operational Command of the Armed Forces Branches (DORSZ) reported on social media.

The statement added that “the flights of the objects were monitored by military radar systems and did not pose a threat to the security of Poland’s airspace.”
“The Operational Command of the Armed Forces Branches remains in constant contact with the relevant services and institutions and is continuously providing collected data on the observed objects,” we read.
It was also reported that “the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland remain ready to carry out tasks related to ensuring the security of Polish airspace.”
