Operation by German Services. Ziobro: “Another Crime Committed by Tusk and His Team”

“One could argue that the current government, led by Donald Tusk, is fully aware of and consenting to an illegal, unlawful operation conducted by German services. This operation violates criminal law and involves the transfer of unidentified, illegal migrants onto Polish territory. This constitutes a criminal offense. It’s yet another crime committed by Tusk and his entire team,” said former Minister of Justice Zbigniew Ziobro in an interview with TV Republika.

According to a regulation from the Ministry of the Interior and Administration, published on Thursday in the Journal of Laws, border controls will be conducted for 30 days – from July 7 to August 5. During this period, 52 border crossings with Germany will be operational, with 16 of them having permanent checks. Meanwhile, 13 control points have been designated on the border with Lithuania, including two permanent checkpoints at the former border crossings in Budzisko and Ogrodniki.

In recent days, members of the government have criticized volunteers from the Border Protection Movement and other organizations aiming to prevent the transfer of illegal migrants into Poland by German authorities.

“Another Crime by Tusk”

The matter was addressed today by former Minister of Justice Zbigniew Ziobro during Michał Rachoń’s program.

“We’re hearing attacks on border defenders from the establishment of the current government and their various ‘advocates’ who appear in the media supporting Donald Tusk. From a criminal law perspective, one could argue that the current government, led by Tusk, is knowingly approving an illegal, unlawful operation by German services, involving the transfer of unidentified illegal migrants into Poland. This is a criminal offense. It’s yet another crime committed by Tusk and his team,” said Ziobro.

According to him, Germany is sending individuals “who they’ve identified as problematic within their own territory and who may pose even greater problems.”

“There have been instances of people arriving in Germany via the Mediterranean Sea who were then transferred into Poland – at night, through forested areas. Is this how a lawful state behaves toward another lawful state? These are actions that should be assessed in the context of human trafficking and operations aimed at undermining the security of a neighboring country,” the former justice minister added.

Poles Have the Right and Duty to Defend Themselves

In Ziobro’s view, under these circumstances, “the actions of Poles who decided to resist – not merely in response to the government’s inaction but to its clear approval – deserve the highest recognition, respect, and are legally justified.”

“The criminal code speaks of necessary defense – that anyone who witnesses a violation of legal interests, whether private or public, not only has the right but a social duty to oppose it. If we see someone crossing the border illegally, without legal grounds, and such an act constitutes a crime, then every Pole has the right to oppose it,” he emphasized.

“We are dealing with a classic criminal offense when individuals with unverified identities are transferred from a safe country into Poland, and German services are unable to provide documentation proving that these individuals were previously on Polish territory. These actions constitute crimes – crimes committed by German services, as well as by those illegally entering Polish territory. The Polish state should respond. The authorities should launch criminal investigations. But instead, we have Tusk, bowing to Scholz, standing at attention before Merz,” Ziobro added.
