Grupa ORLEN has launched the “We Are Together” program, dedicating PLN 35 million to mitigate the impacts of recent floods. The initiative provides fuel for emergency services, supports flood-affected communities, and aids in rebuilding efforts.
Immediate Support for Relief Efforts
Since the onset of the disaster, ORLEN has actively supported both victims and responders. Over PLN 11 million has been donated to local rescue services, with more than 500,000 liters of free fuel provided to fire departments, water rescue units, and the police. ORLEN has also supplied equipment, chemicals, and sandbags to local governments and emergency services.
Long-Term Community Rebuilding
As part of the program’s long-term strategy, ORLEN is committing PLN 10 million to charities like the Polish Humanitarian Action and the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity. Employee donations, matched by corporate foundations, also contribute to this rebuilding effort. Additionally, over PLN 4 million was raised through a recent nationwide coffee and tea sales initiative at ORLEN stations.
