More than a month ago, during the election campaign, Prime Minister Donald Tusk declared: “If I have it prepared, and by the end of May it will be… it’s almost ready… by the end of May we will be ready with over 100 policies aimed at deregulating the Polish economy and administration.”
During the presidential campaign, Tusk promised that, as part of the work led by the Deregulation Task Force headed by Rafał Brzoska, more than 100 deregulatory policies would be ready by the end of May.
Now, with the end of June approaching, these policies have yet to materialize. Internet users are questioning whether this was merely a campaign tactic.
As Dziennik Gazeta Prawna reports, the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology is responsible for preparing the so-called first deregulation package. However, these proposals are still in the draft stage and have not yet been passed by the Sejm or enacted into law.
Other ministries are at a similar stage. For example, the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy, after reviewing proposals from Brzoska’s task force, has prepared its own solutions concerning regulations on remote work.
