    Poland’s Armed Forces Expanding Their Helicopter Fleet: Black Hawk, AW149, AW101, and Apache

    The Polish Ministry of National Defence (MON) has recently announced plans to equip the Polish Armed Forces with a diverse range of helicopters, heralding a significant upgrade in the country’s aerial capabilities. The fleet expansion is set to include four models: Black Hawk, AW149, AW101, and Apache.


    “We are replenishing the helicopter fleet with more Black Hawks. The Polish Army will soon have a full range of helicopters – Black Hawk, AW149, AW101, and Apache. Training of our soldiers on Apache in the US will start later this year, and the first machines will arrive in Poland next year.”

    The Polish Minister of National Defence, Mariusz Błaszczak, expressed his excitement over the impending expansion of the helicopter fleet in his social media announcement. He mentioned that the addition of Black Hawk helicopters will soon complete the array of helicopters at the disposal of the Polish Armed Forces. This expanded fleet will encompass the Black Hawk, AW149, AW101, and Apache, each serving specific roles and missions.
