During the Law and Justice (PiS) congress on Saturday, MEP Patryk Jaki emphasized the importance of defending Poland’s sovereignty. Speaking to party members, Jaki reaffirmed that Sovereign Poland’s (SP) alliance with PiS is essential to preserve the nation’s independence and to oppose Donald Tusk’s influence.
The Fight for Sovereignty
Jaki passionately expressed that Poland cannot be handed over “by default.” He highlighted that everything their political group has achieved is rooted in Poland’s rich history. This alliance, he explained, is a necessary step in the battle against “Tusk’s enslavement,” marking the fight as crucial for Poland’s future.
Jaki also called on voters, particularly those disillusioned by opposition narratives, to reconsider their views. He stressed that PiS and SP stand as inheritors of Poland’s political and religious freedom, referencing historical milestones like the first European constitution. Jaki urged citizens to embrace Poland’s legacy rather than letting it fall into the hands of those who, in his words, “despise it.”
In closing, Jaki warned of external pressures, insisting that Poland must reject both German influence and European bureaucracy to protect its true republican values.
