“More than 80,000 composite helmets will go to soldiers in the Polish Army. This is another contract for protective equipment that will go to both operational army soldiers and territorials. Deliveries will begin this year,”

the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence wrote on Twitter.

Helmets made out of high-performance aramid fibres provide a great balance between performance and weight. Not only do they protect against shrapnel, but they also offer high protection against bullets.
