Polish Employee Turnover Trends: Professional Growth Surpasses Salary

In recent research by Randstad, employee turnover in Poland has shifted focus from salary to career development and dissatisfaction with current employers. For the first time, salary has dropped to the third position among reasons for leaving a job, trailing behind the desire for professional growth and dissatisfaction with one’s current employer.

    Decline in Salary’s Importance

The report highlights a notable decrease in the importance of salary, which now accounts for 38% of turnover reasons, a decline of 8 percentage points from the previous quarter. Conversely, the emphasis on career development has decreased by 8 percentage points, while dissatisfaction with employers has increased by 4 percentage points. The turnover rate itself shows a slight downward trend, reaching its lowest in two years.

The average job search duration has extended to 3.1 months, reverting to levels seen at the end of 2023. Additionally, the percentage of those not actively seeking new employment has risen to 44%. Despite a stable overall job satisfaction level of 73%, dissatisfaction varies significantly across different sectors.
