    Polish Students Face Major Changes: No More Free Laptops & Revised Curriculum

    Today students in Poland heard the first bell. Some missed school, others are already counting down the time until the next vacation. But everyone at school is facing changes. What are they? A new, reduced core curriculum, guidelines for religion classes, aiming to reduce them, and an end to the free laptops that fourth graders received. The Ministry of Education has even specified that the program will not continue, lest there be any doubt. Parents are protesting, but the minister is not listening to these voices.
