    Polish Universities Nominated for Elsevier Research Impact Leaders Award 2023

    Three Polish universities, Gdańsk University of Technology, Jagiellonian University, and Opole University of Technology, have been nominated for the prestigious Elsevier Research Impact Leaders Award 2023 in the Engineering & Technologies category.


    In an exciting development for the Polish academic community, these institutions have been recognized for their outstanding contributions to research and scientific development in the field of technology and engineering. The nomination, a testament to their dedication and achievements, reflects the increasing internationalization and collaborative efforts among Polish technical universities.

    The Research Impact Leaders Award is designed to support research and scientific development, acknowledging institutions that make the most significant impact on scientific research and enhance the global recognition of Polish science.

    The award is conferred by Elsevier, a renowned scientific publisher, known for compiling the list of the top 2 percent of the most influential global researchers and being the proprietor of the vast Scopus scientific publication database.

    The Elsevier Research Awards ceremony is scheduled for October 26, 2023, in Łódź, during the Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland.
