On Sunday, Janów Lubelski hosted the Festival of Polish Arms. It is a historical and military event that presents the development of the Polish army from the times of King Mieszko I up to the present day. Among its media patrons was, among others, TV Republika. This year, President Karol Nawrocki attended the festival.
“This is a wonderful initiative, a kind of sprint, a reconstruction, a living history lesson about our military tradition, which also tells us that Poland is destined for great things, that Poles are ready to defend the values that are important to us, even in the face of a superior enemy,”
he said during the event.
He stressed that this initiative shows “how beautiful national heritage is embodied in the modern Polish nation. This heritage inspires us to think ambitiously.”
“Poland must be great, strong, and we must stand together,”
the president underlined.
