At the same time, yesterday it was reported that today – Thursday – the first meeting between President Nawrocki and the head of the government will take place. It was Donald Tusk who reportedly requested this conversation. Council of Ministers meeting – when?
However – returning to the Council of Ministers meeting – Zbigniew Bogucki, head of the Chancellery of President Karol Nawrocki, was asked about its date on Radio Wnet. “It is confirmed that the Council of Ministers will take place, it will be in August. This is an important meeting. However, perhaps today there will be a decision, but I cannot determine that – it is the President’s decision whether there will be a specific, exact date” – he replied.
The politician also condemned the financial policy of the current ruling team.
“Aside from matters of security and international affairs, the budgetary and financial situation of Poland is extremely important. Today, we have a government that has dug not just a huge hole, but a budgetary abyss of over 500 billion zlotys” – he explained.
And he added: “This has never happened in the history of Polish public finances. And it only took two years to dig a financial abyss from which we will have to claw our way out for many, many years”.
