Presidential Residence in Wisła Hosts Children from Flood-Affected Areas

Flood-affected children find joy, learning, and support during a special stay at the Presidential Residence in Wisła.

A new group of children from areas devastated by September’s floods has arrived at the Presidential Residence in Wisła. Nearly 40 young residents from Lądek-Zdrój are participating in a six-day stay, part of an initiative by President Andrzej Duda and his wife, Agata Kornhauser-Duda. The children enjoy complimentary accommodation and meals, organized by the Presidential Office to support affected communities.

    A Cultural and Educational Experience
During their stay, the children explore the Beskid Śląski region’s history and culture, with local museums and educational centers providing unique experiences. Activities include visits to the Beskid Museum and the Nature Education Center, and a trip to the Animation and Fairy Tale Center in Bielsko-Biała, where they learn about Polish animation.

    Memorable Excursions and Fun Activities
Thanks to sponsors, the children enjoy outings to a forest park and water park. The schedule also includes a trip to Kraków, where they’ll tour the Wawel Castle, exploring Poland’s royal heritage.
