A 41-year-old man from Mława found himself in a costly predicament after a reckless stunt at a local gas station went awry. While attempting to show off his skills on a quad, the rider lost control, causing the vehicle to crash into a parked BMW near the fuel dispenser. The incident, captured on the station’s surveillance camera, quickly drew attention.
The man received a hefty 5,000 PLN fine and 8 penalty points from the police. Officers from Mława’s SPEED unit responded to the scene and noted that the quad was not insured. As a result, the driver will be responsible for covering the full repair costs of the damaged BMW out of pocket.
In a statement, Mława police spokesperson Anna Pawłowska stressed the consequences of reckless behavior and a disregard for safety rules, reminding the public that such carelessness can lead to significant financial and legal repercussions.
