Russian Hacktivist Group Behind Cyber Attack on Polish News Websites

In a brazen display of cyber warfare, Polish news website niezalezna.pl and several other nationwide news websites fell victim to a devastating Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attack earlier today.

The assault, which commenced at approximately 8:00 a.m., left digital platforms crippled and disrupted the flow of information for a significant period. After a thorough investigation conducted in collaboration with the Ministry of Digital Affairs, it has been revealed that a notorious Russian hacktivist group stands at the heart of this audacious assault.

Immediate action was taken by the targeted websites’ dedicated teams to mitigate the effects of the cybercriminals’ malicious act. Their relentless efforts bore fruit, as by 9:30 a.m., full functionality was restored to the besieged websites, allowing news dissemination to resume unhindered.

Authorities are working diligently to uncover the motives and intricacies of this assault, with a focus on identifying the responsible individuals within the Russian hacktivist group.
