Reports of German police crossing the Polish border and moving through border towns—on our side of the country—are becoming more frequent in the media. It turns out that Poland’s Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration has not received any official requests for such actions. And that is against the law!
Dokumentujcie każdy niemiecki radiowóz na terenie PL – nie możemy wykluczyć, że są tu w naszym kraju bez wiedzy naszych polskich władz !!!

See a German police car in Poland? Take action!
Document every German police vehicle on Polish territory—we cannot rule out that they are here without the knowledge of our Polish authorities!
This urgent warning comes from journalist Aleksandra Fedorska, who cites information obtained by Monika Rutka, a journalist collaborating with our station.
It turns out that “neither the West Pomeranian nor Lower Silesian provincial structures have submitted any requests to the German side for assistance under Article 5 of the May 2015 agreement.”
What does this mean?
While Poland and Germany do have a mutual cooperation agreement, any entry of German law enforcement into our country should be preceded by an official request submitted to the Polish Ministry of Internal Affairs. However, the ministry has not received any such requests!
Only the Provincial Police Headquarters in Gorzów Wielkopolski, through the Polish-German Center for Border, Police, and Customs Cooperation in Świecko and the International Police Cooperation Team of the Criminal Intelligence Division in Gorzów Wlkp., sends inquiries to the German side—mainly for informational purposes. These inquiries are frequent—over 400 in the first quarter of 2025 alone.
Fedorska calls on Poles to remain vigilant:
“Please pay special attention to Zgorzelec, Kołbaskowo, and Tuplice! Document every entry of German police into Polish territory and send the evidence to us or post it on X! Also, make sure to record the license plates of these vehicles.”
What does the law say?
Legal expert Bartosz Lewandowski explains the legal aspect of the situation:
Under the Polish-German cooperation agreement, German officers can only operate in Poland at the request of the Polish authorities.
