Sikorski on a New “Global Balance of Power” – German Ambassador Present in the Chamber

The head of Polish diplomacy delivered before the Sejm his annual address on the objectives of Poland’s foreign policy, also referred to as Radosław Sikorski’s exposé.

In addition to President Karol Nawrocki and members of his Chancellery, the speech was also attended by diplomats accredited in Poland. Among them was Germany’s ambassador Miguel Berger, who posted a message online marking his presence.

Also present was the United States Ambassador to Poland, Tom Rose. See the photos in the gallery below:

During his speech, Radosław Sikorski extensively discussed the war in Ukraine and the assistance provided by Poland. He also welcomed to the Sejm gallery Ukrainian activist Natalia Panchenko, who has been active in Poland and was one of the leaders – alongside, among others, Bartosz Kramek – of a fundraising campaign for power generators delivered to Ukraine.

“This war will determine which actor becomes the third – alongside the United States and China – pillar of the new global balance of power. Will it be Russia or the European Union? For a Polish patriot, the choice should be obvious,” Sikorski said.

The head of Polish diplomacy listed as one of the alternative pillars an international organization currently led by Germany.
