Situated in Chorzów, within the Silesian Park, the venue became an instant favorite for families seeking entertainment. The park’s debut brought a new level of excitement to the region, offering an array of rides and attractions that captivated visitors of all ages.
By 1960, 63 attractions were in operation and the interest was tremendous. On average, the amusement park was visited by six thousand people a day; during the holidays it was about fifty thousand. One of the recordings was made in September 1966 during the Workers' Tribunists Festival, when 80,000 people were having fun at the amusement park. People from all over the country came to Silesia to have fun in the first amusement park in Poland.
Legendia Silesian Merry Town quickly established itself as a hub for fun and leisure, drawing crowds from all over the country. It featured thrilling roller coasters, a majestic Ferris wheel, and various carnival games. For many, it was a place where cherished childhood memories were made. Over the decades, it has evolved, adding modern attractions while preserving its nostalgic charm.
